This paper is a review of the literature gender stereotypes. It examines thedeconstruction stereotypes through clothing in settings such as academia and workplace, magazine pop culture, shopping behavior consumerism. found that attire has profound influence on traditional norms shown men use to signal their sexuality social status. Gender portrayals within children’sand men’s magazines often form stereotypes, which can be damaging one’s development identity - culture does same when contributing societal norms. investigates how internalized homophobia affect gay men, reviews young people’s choices are closely linked self-expression determiningpersonality congeniality.
